The ClinAIS shared task aims to tackle the identification of section types within unstructured clinical records in the Spanish language. These records, known as Electronic Clinical Narratives, store crucial individual health information. However, their lack of standardized formats poses challenges in the development and evaluation of automated systems for clinical document analysis. The task is focused on identifying seven predefined medical sections: Present Illness, Derived from/to, Past Medical History, Family history, Exploration, Treatment, and Evolution in ECNs, mainly progress notes.
